Being an accomplished highline detailer and technical writer on all-things detailing…you can imagine that this is perhaps the nicest condition NBP TL-S that you’ll see. Other than the obligatory rock chips for a 5 year old car, the paint is in immaculate condition. The interior is equally as good and clean, the OEM carpeted floor mats are perfect, and it also has the factory all-season floor mats as well.
During the past year, the car has received new Continental Extreme Contact DWS tires, new Brembo drilled front rotors, EBC brake pads, and a new Interstate battery this winter.
The only modifications done to the car is the sound system. I added a tremendous amount of sound deadening to the doors and trunk (car is extremely quiet), and significantly improved the sound quality with a DLS A7 amplifier (Swedish), a Rockford Fosgate 360.2 processor, Rainbow Germanium component speakers in the front (German), and a 12″ Rainbow Vanadium sub. The system was designed, built, and tuned as a high sound quality system. I put close to 40 hours into the install and tuning, and it’s all worth about $3,500.

just curious, how would you rate your (original owner) TL’s black paint as received from factory to that of some 458′s you’ve seen. Do you believe the Ferrari’s leave the factory with poor paint finish or perhaps it is messed up by “dealer prep”?
From the factory, this TL and the brand new one I just took delivery of yesterday were both fine. I always get them without any dealer prep, so that saves a lot of work on my part. For the Italian cars however, most of the damage comes from the factory because they actually “buff” them whereas the mass produced cars don’t get touched unless they have a spot-fix to take care of.
